Fourth of July Weekend

Since the Fourth of July fell on a Sunday we got a whole weekend of activities to celebrate it because each city seemed to celebrate it on a different day. On Saturday the third we went to Cherry Days in North Ogden and the fireworks at Weber High that night. On Sunday the fourth we had a barbecue at Grandma Westergard's house and then later lit our own fireworks at Grandma Slater's house. My boys have issues with loud noises and mainly watched the fireworks from inside the house looking out Grandma's window. Then on Monday the fifth we went to Farr West Days. That's a lot of parades, food, and fireworks. I love the summer! :0)

Later we went to the Cherry Days booths. It was tons of fun and they had a bunch of free carnival stuff for the kids to do. Plus there were cute crafts to buy and great food booths.

That night we went to Weber High to watch the fireworks.

We ate a Souvlaki dinner at the park that evening and then hung out for the fireworks.

Korver and Tytan came and the boys played ball and danced to the music.

Korver my brother Jordan's little guy. He and Ty cracked us up dancing to the music. They really got into it.

Garrett is my free spirit child. He likes to do whatever you don't want him to do. He's a runner. We wanted him to stay out of the taped off area because there were skydivers, and so of course that's where he spent all his time, running into the field thinking it was so funny to see us chase after him.

Farr West had an excellent fireworks show and we all had a great time.
